Thalia's moly: Imagine

At last, here is my contribution to Thalia's Moly. Her theme was "dreams" so I choose to refer to one of the biggest dreamers of all time: John Lennon. I made a short trip to New York City 2 weeks ago, and we visited Strawberry Fields. It's a part of the Central park, near the place where Lennon was shot in 1980. There is a memorial in the pavement referring to the song that in my opinion represents his dreams the best: Imagine. Imagination is the start of every dream of course.

I made some sketches during the trip: you can find them on my blog

http://renefijten.blogspot.com/ , or on Flickr. I also wrote some posts on Urban Sketchers. http://www.urbansketchers.com/

Scott Adds to Ellen's Book

Since we have settled on a boob theme: here is a blue footed booby, a rose breasted grossbeak, and a blue tit for the book. "Down at the shore; up in the air."
